THE K CLUB

Combining the elegance and unique charm of an Irish country house, The K Club is an elegantly restored 19th-century mansion estate nestled among 700 acres (283 hectares) of lush countryside. Guests will enjoy the luxurious surroundings of this warm, charming and intimate setting.

At The K Club, each of the bedrooms and suites are individually appointed to the highest standard. There are no two rooms alike in terms of size and interior, making it one of the only resorts in Ireland that can boast this unique characteristic.

All rooms pride themselves on views overlooking the gardens and the river or the golf course and driving range.

In total the hotel boasts 69 hotel rooms, each with exquisite hand painted bathrooms, which are made up of the following categories, Superior, Deluxe, River Room and 12 Suites.

There are two magnificent 18 hole championship golf courses, the Palmer, and the Smurfit. Both are designed by Arnold Palmer but each has its own characteristics and special set of challenges.

The Palmer course will host the 2006 Ryder Cup matches between Europe and the USA.
